3 Jahre Peugeot 207 CC und 96.000 Kilometer |

Am 1. Mai 2007 machten wir mit unserem Peugeot 207 CC Platinum die erste Ausfahrt in den Frühling. Drei Jahre sind seither vergangen und der Franzosen-Flitzer hat jetzt 96.000 Kilometer auf dem Buckel. Ein Fun Car, das auch gefahren wird. Auch über Langstrecken. Im Sommer. Im Winter. Zu allen Jahreszeiten. Abgesehen von einigen wenigen “Mucken” macht das Auto auch nach drei Jahren noch immer großen Spaß. Ein alltagstaugliches Fahrzeug. Zu einem bezahlbaren Preis. Günstig im Verbrauch. Günstig in der Versicherung. Euro 4 und damit umweltfreundlich. Nicht umsonst Deutschlands beliebtestes Cabrio. Since the year 2007 we drive our Peugeot 207 CC convertible. 96.000 kilometers now. We travelled to France, to Britanny, the German Northsea Coast and nearly every weekend to our second habitation and our country garden in Southwestern Palatinat. Well, the car does its duty and we still like it very well.

Il semble que le temps s’est arrêté à la petite église de Courcelles les Quingey, perchée sur une colline loin de toute habitation. Ici, on chauffe au bois, on s’éclaire à la bougie, et bien sûr on sonne les cloches à la force du bras ! Nous avons affaire ici à 2 belles cloches, toutes 2 coulées à la fin du 19e siècle… la plus grande signée Farnier, et la plus petite issue de la fonderie Paccard Mi3 do#4

CAIRO, ville fantôme… |

Voici l’un des épisodes peut-être les plus marquants de ce périple sur les fleuves US : Notre escale dans la ville fantôme de Cairo. Un soir, nous nous étions arrêtés derrière une île que forme le Mississipi pour passer la nuit. L’endroit était complètement perdu, aucune habitation nulle part, que des arbres sur les berges, et le piaillement des oiseaux dans les arbres. Nous ne devions bien sûr passer que la nuit. Mais le lendemain, après avoir remonté l’ancre, le bateau n’a pas voulu partir… J’ai plongé pour voir ce qui se passait sous l’eau : Il n’y avait plus d’hélice… Comment cela at-il pu se passer ? Je n’en sais rien, toujours est-il que le courant était trop fort, et le fond trop vaseux. Je n’ai pas pu la retrouver. Nous étions complètement bloqués dans un endroit perdu. Nous avons donc débarqué sur une berge terreuse, puis avons marché dans la forêt. Nous avons ensuite traversé un champ, puis une autre forêt, pour enfin arriver à… une ville fantôme ! Un vrai conte. Nous avons bienheureusement trouvé des chemins. Nous sommes donc retournés au bateau et avons débarqué les vélos pour pouvoir visiter cette ville que je vous invite à découvrir sur cette vidéo. www.jeanfrancoisdine.eu

This video is a prime example of serendipity. While wandering around Sarasota taking pictures, I just so happen to bump into Jaszy McAllister (who Ive recently only met on line) of Modern hippie Mag. We officially introduced ourselves and began to talk. The conversation soon unveiled that there was going to be a near by press event featuring the Beach Boys and a 1969 electric powered VW Squareback. So completely random and so completely awesome! Lucky for me, I had both my still and video camera with me. Forrest Shaw is the proud owner of this beautiful 1969 electric VW Squareback aka the Green Machine. The goal of the car is to have a green delivery operation for Pastry Art Bakery & Cafe, Forrests downtown Sarasota hot spot, while promoting green living and green business. With the sponsored help of Pete Hanson, Braille Battery and The Hub this 68 Squareback will now live on as Sarasotas first green car.

Cal dir, que el Projecte Amic va dirigit, única i exclusivament, a aquells joves amb o sense discapacitat, que desitgin iniciar el seu procés formatiu per a transtitar a les vivendes compartides. Vivendes Compartides Es una alternativa als Pisos tutelats, els Centres Residencials i altres serveis institucionals.
