I guess you weren’t …
I guess you weren’t listening. America had the edge in the technology – in both wind and solar. But they lost it when the tax credits for those were not renewed. The innovation began to happen in Denmark, Germany, etc. because they have a goal of energy independence. So yes, tax credits are going to foreign firms making products in the US – kind of like the Toyotas, Hondas, Subarus, etc.made in the US hese days.

We could drill parts of Alaska 4 natural gas & oil~uninhabited by animals, trees, NOTHING! This capitalist dragon with 2 heads, named Dem & Repub R Treasury plunderers who’re NOT interested in the average American citizen nor ‘saving the planet’. Tax credits to buy FOREIGN corporation produced products?! Cut each American household a check to purchase HOME solar & wind energy equipment & relegate the middlemen Power companies to being emergency backups during cloudy, windless days.

more erratic??
Gore is playing UR heartstrings 4 profit. Weather is cyclic. Every 20 or so years we get record freezes. 25 in Orlando tonite; 13 degrees Xmas day 1983 in Tampa With droughts, famines mass starvation in Ethiopia 1974-1984, with record crops in 1982! No more erratic than all history.
Global event that killed dinosaurs didn’t permenately destroy the earth. Turtles, cockroaches, plant & other life forms survived & ultimately thrive~ ALL WITHOUT foreign corporate welfare.

@n8iveidiot13. Ok, lets say you don’t believe in global warming. You are still sending your cash overseas to the petro-dictors of the world. Even if the facts about global warming are wrong, the facts about energy independence are not.

Are you really …
Are you really serious? Global warming doesn’t mean that it keeps getting warmer everywhere each year. It means the average temperatures go up but the weather gets more eractic – like what we have now.

Keep it in …
Keep it in perspective. Americans send $700 billion EACH year overseas to buy foreign oil. Almost the equivalent of a Stimulus package each year to Saudis, Libyans, Iraqis, and the like. The US lost its edge in wind (now with the Danes) and solar (now with the Germans) when it eliminated tax credits. This is a drop in the bucket compared to what we send each year overseas.

we could USE some of that global warming about now with record lows being achieved around the world.
Whatever ‘was’ melted @ the polar ice caps most certainly has been refrozen by now.
Al Gore is a capitalist liar & we, the people are giving tax $ to once again subsidize big business sales of unnecessary ‘green’ products.
