How Lovely in Thy Dwelling Place by Ted Sandquist
How Lovely is Thy dwelling place Oh Lord of Hosts My soul longs and aints for your courts And my heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God For a day in your presence Is far better to me than gold Or in living my whole life somewhere else And would rather be a doorkeeper in you fold Than to take my fate upon myself You are my sun and my shield You are my lover from the start and the highway to your city Runs through my heart

nothing compares to the worship tunes from that time. maybe it was being so in love with Jesus. Can anyone share those chords with me?

I loved Sanquists songs. We used to sing most of them in church back in the 80s. Bring them back!

Ted and Dawn Sandquist are still active in Jesus’s kingdom. They now live in Kentucky. You can watch their video clips here. Look for Global World Initiative or GWI.

I was at Love Inn, Ithaca, NY in the early 70s when Ted Sandquist came out and said he had just wrote a new song to the Lord. This is what he sang and I recorded it on my cassette tape player. I learned it on my guitar and still sing it. I wonder what happened to Ted Sandquist.
