A Look Inside The Lemp Mansion
For spring break, my parents and I traveled to St. Louis, MO to stay in The Lemp Mansion. It’s a historic mansion that was previously owned by the Lemp family, and they had a brewery. But all the Lemps are long gone now, and it’s a restaurant/bed and breakfast. Originally, I was supposed to have the Lewis Suite, and my parents had the Fredrick Suite. (They’re connected) But that was before I actually explored the Lewis Suite bathroom. There two doors that contain a staircase that leads to nowhere. That is Zeke’s hideaway. Zeke was the last child born to William Sr. and Julia Lemp. Some accounts will tell you that he is the bastard son of Billy Lemp and a servant, but that is completely untrue. Anyway, Zeke was born with down syndrome, so they kept him n the attic for his own protection. In the video, I said that Zeke fell down the stairs behind the door and died… I later found out that that is also untrue. Zeke died from falling down the long spiral staircase that stretches from the basement to the attic. His favorite dwelling place is now in that little place behind the doors. So I traded my parents because my mom decided she was fond of Zeke… I’m absolutely terrified of him. A look at the ghosts… Julia Lemp- William Sr.’s wife, and mother of 10. She died in the William Sr. suite of cancer. Her ghost now roams the 2nd floor, looking for Zeke. Betsy, the ghost tour guide, said it was because she died when Zeke was 2 and she feels likes she abandoned him. Charles …
