Revelation: 18:1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. 18:3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. 18:5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

AVcom www.aksioma.org/avcom concept: Janez Janša, Mikael Lundberg Sound compression: Palle Dahlstedt GPS data processing: Joakim Linde, Mats Nordahl camera and editing: Janez Janša ——————- FLEETING SYMPHONIES “Streets are the dwelling place of the collective. The collective is an eternally restless, eternally moving essence that, among the facades of buildings, endures, experiences, learns, and senses as much as individuals in the protection of their four walls. For this collective the shiny enameled store signs are as good and even better a wall decoration as a salon oil painting is for the bourgeoisie. Walls with the “defense d’afficher” are its writing desks, newspapers are its libraries, letterboxes its bronzes, benches its bedroom furniture…” Walter Benjamin. Das Passagen-Werk. ——————- Through the figure of the flâneur, Walter Benjamin portrayed one of the key protagonists of modernity. This reader of metropolitan signs, translator of urban experiences and resonance point of the crowd was the witness of a changing world at the dawn of industrialization and the patient teller of city development and mass growth. As Benjamin’s Baudelaire did with the Paris of the end of XIX century, Janez Janša and Mikael Lundberg face again the metropolitan landscape. But in this journey, at the beginning of XXI century, local references have burst in uncountable sensorial fragments that in their simultaneous presentation transmit the frantic rhythm of six …
Metroid Fusion 100% Part 9 – Boiling Survivors
Posted by admin in habitation on 08 31st, 2010
Heat the survivors until the water begins to boil, then let simmer before sprinkling a dash of oregano… oh wait… this is a game video and not a cooking tutorial! Err… so yeah… today’s video does not get all that much done either really… The first thing to get done is dealing with that… *eye twitches* …emergency in sector 3… Thankfully the computer voice shuts up after you get your objective, so now it is merely the flashing and the timer to keep us informed that this is, in fact, an emergency. The trip through Sector 3 can be a tiny bit lengthy, but this is more because you have to go back out the way you came in immediately after dealing with the problem. There is one major benefit though… Out of going through this trouble we get… the Wide Beam! (Seriously? Wide Beam? Whatever happened to the nicer sounding name, Spazer?) A much needed beam power-up as it increases Samus’s power a bit more. After the lengthy trip back to the navigation room, we get informed of possible survivors! Well… that is quite unexpected… lets go after them! This lets us finally go back up to the Main Deck and explore some more… The habitation Deck is very small… and wait… This place looks to be basically for animal storage… Then why is it not just another environment Sector? Anyways… finding the survivors does not take very long. It ends up being the buddies Samus made back on Zebes! Ooh, and look, the bird’s egg hatched too! They recognize Samus, thus confirming …

The Astronauts – Protest Song
Posted by admin in dwelling place on 08 30th, 2010
Random images of a protest song……………………………………………………………………………………………………….. I live my own life – do what I want – say what I mean And you’ve got your own hope – strange ambition – different dreams So who are you to say I’m wrong? And who am I to say I’m right? Though we live in separate ways, why do we argue, always fight? A man who disagreed with a regime was turned a rat. One night, some men came round – “we’ve read your books, we’d like a chat” And then they kicked him round the cell With cigarettes they burnt his face Said “Remember, we’re the law. Do you love your family, your dwelling place?” And it seems that fools control the world, the nuclear button, the poison pen. Most of us are in the dark, but then we’re only little men. But little men have mouths to feed And little men don’t want to kill So little men are never told unless, of course, the earth stands still. We have got a chant, ain’t got a chorus, ain’t even got a name But it helps us through the night to know we don’t share the blame It’s just another protest song (“Oh what a pretty protest song”) With words to try and make you think (“I think I’ll go and have a drink”) But come the dawn resume your search for your ultimate power Your missing link.
