Oriental Hotel in Praia da Roche Portugal?
Posted by admin in praia on 01 17th, 2010Has anyone stayed here before, i’m going in September, any advice on best places to visit or any tips in general appreciated please?
I’ve not stayed there but I have been there on a travel agents inspection visit.
I was there in November 2005 and although it could be said they made a special effort knowing they were being inspected by travel agents we also spoke to holidaymakers who were there and they all said they were having a lovely time with no complaints.
Its not a big hotel, in fact I think theres only about 90 rooms if I remember rightly. But they were lovely- bright and well decorated with quality soft furnishings. I think there was also a mini-kitchen which was unusual for a hotel. Many rooms had sea view which was really nice. The beach the hotel sits on is fabulous and the swimming pool was freeform and perfectly acceptable.
It does have a kind of an Oriental/Moorish atmosphere. I really liked it and the meals we had there (lunch & dinner) were fine. If you are eating out, there are some great restaurants nearby – try La Dolce Vita (Italian) across the road and Sabor Gaucho (Brazilian) next to Villa Rosa.
I would say that the hotel appeals more to those over 30 but I would definitley consider going there myself again.

Its in a quieter position but only around 5 minutes walk from the strip if you want the nightlife.

Where can I learn all about green living like rural off the grid ect?
Posted by admin in green living on 01 17th, 2010I saw a show of some people living off the land with solar energy, bio diesel, farms, earth made walls, vegetable oil and hydrogen cars, ect.
I would like to see a site or a book or a community that would teach me so I can have thorough knowledge and learn all the ins and outs and learn what works and what doesnt ect and break from a lot of spoiled ways and other things that I am not even aware of.

Posted by admin in bee hive on 01 17th, 2010He runs home and if a couple of bee’s followed and stung people in his home.He says i dont know what happened but lets kill the bee hive.While we are all pissed off at the bee’s the person with the stick is stealing the honey.I guess everybody at home is happy with their victory over the bee’s.While the person that started the battle sets back and injoys the fruits of I guess our victory.People are stupid as the bee’s

It already is in several states and has been since the 19th century, although some of these laws are currently under lawsuits.
